Nancy Shaper, Board President
Ms. Shaper is a resident of the Prettyboy Watershed, obtained a Ph.D. from UCLA in microbiology, and has recently retired from Johns Hopkins were she was an Associate Professor in the Oncology Department. Her longtime interest in the biological sciences combined with an increased concern about environmental issues has resulted in her commitment to addressing these concerns through a "hands-on" approach at the local level. PWA presents a unique opportunity to achieve this goal.
