Pollinator Garden and Habitat Workshop

When: Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.

Visit a local pollinator garden and find resources and valuable information to create this habitat in your yard. Native plant gardens conserve water and provide habitat for native wildlife.  Join us for this special chance to tour a local garden, tended by a Master Gardener, and see beautiful native plants and blooms and explore the habitat benefits. 

Location/Directions: Parking located at Mt. Carmel UMC Church, 2533 Mt Carmel Road (intersection of Mt. Carmel and Prettyboy Dam Roads).  Garden Tour is a short walk from the parking area.

Our Tour Guide is Ryan Davis of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Forest for the Bay Program Coordinator for Maryland and Pennsylvania. An experienced biologist and naturalist, he strives to share the beauty of our local flora and fauna and to conserve our natural resources for the well-being of future generations.
